You will soon have your diploma in hand and are about to take your first steps as a graduate on the Danish job market. But which types of jobs might be good for you, and how do you get a head start on the job search and, not least, a good start on your job? And where do you go for help after leaving AAU?

In the past, in Denmark it was common to be employed in a permanent job and maybe stay there until retirement. That is no longer the case. There are different types of employment and people change jobs frequently.

You have a long working life ahead of you, so now you have to go out and test yourself. You are facing a learning process where you will learn a lot about yourself.

Where can I get help after graduation?

From 1st to 10th semester, the career counsellors at AAU is here to help you navigate your career in Denmark.

Once you graduate, your unemployment insurance fund and trade union are the right ones to help you move on.
