Together, we create our study culture

A good study culture does not come automatically; it is something we actively create through our daily actions, big and small. AAU's Code of Conduct is our shared guide, keeping us aware of how we make AAU a safe and welcoming place - every day. On this page, you can learn how we work together to build a positive study culture and how we address inappropriate behavior.

AAU's Code of Conduct should be reflected in the study culture

AAU's Code of Conduct is very simple. It consists of four core values that reflect what we want to focus on in our community.

Acknowledge difference

How can you contribute?

Respect other people

How do you show respect?

It's OK to stand your ground

Do you speak up when your boundaries are crossed?

Pay attention

Do you feel seen by your fellow students?

But how do you do that?

A good starting point is acknowledging that we all want positive interactions. Respect, recognition, and attentiveness should naturally be in the foundation of how we surround us with eachother. Being able to discuss how we should interact is exactly what AAU's Code of Conduct is about!

We do not always agree, but we respect each other’s boundaries and right to say no. We approach each other with openness and attentiveness.
