Rules for organising student bars

At AAU, students can visit one of the bars on student afternoon once the study week has ended. The student bars are run by volunteer student associations.

All student bars at AAU must be registered and approved by the university.

Student bars must comply with current public sector requirements, including fire regulations. In addition, the university has rules for organising student bars on AAU premises. These are, for example, rules for the use of rooms including time periods, product range, and who can visit the bar.

There are student-run student bars at all AAU locations.

On the Esbjerg campus, students can visit the Friday bar, Smuthullet, and in Copenhagen the bar Slusen is open on Fridays.

In Aalborg there are several student bars, and there are two sets of regulations – one for the campus in the city centre and one for the campus in Aalborg East.

See the regulations below.
