Physical study environment
How you get influence on the development of the physical study environment
You and your fellow students have a central role in CAS's development of the good physical study environment at AAU. The physical study environment covers the physical framework for your student life - for example the arrangement of classrooms and outdoor areas, access to student workplaces and power sockets, improvement of the indoor climate and acoustics, toilet conditions, etc.
Evaluations and events
In the evaluations of the semester, questions about the study environment are included either every or every other semester, as well as questions about the physical framework for your everyday life at AAU. The input and wishes that you and your fellow students bring here are used by CAS to improve the physical study environment in dialogue with faculties and campus managers.
When developing in a specific study environment, CAS also involves the environment' students and employees. Therefore, keep an eye out for CAS's events, where you can provide your input into the development of a concrete study environment that is important to your student life.
Building Support
In your daily life at the university, you are the first to notice if something is worn or broken. For example, if you come across a blind that has fallen down, a rubbish bin with a broken lid or a toilet that is leaking, grab your smartphone, take a picture of the fault and report it in the Building Support app. When you do, a message is sent directly to the tradesmen or inventory department, depending on the fault, and they can act immediately. When the error has been corrected, you will receive a notification by e-mail and a 'thank you' for taking responsibility for your study environment.
Download the app from the App Store or Google Play.
Student workplaces
You can find student workplaces in many places on and off AAU's campuses. Student workplaces can be found in the local study environments, but larger areas have also been established where you and your fellow students can focus on your studies.
