SPS is a service for students with a functional impairment. The purpose of the support is to give you the opportunity to undertake your studies on equal terms with other students. The support can be physical or digital aids and/or personal support.

The purpose of SPS is to enable you to complete your studies on an equal footing with other students. SPS is individually tailored and may consist of physical or digital aids and/or personal support, if that is what you need.

Support is only provided for issues directly related to your studies. Therefore, you cannot receive support for things like transportation, living expenses, tutoring, or extra teaching.

Aalborg University is obliged to maintain confidentiality regarding your support. For example, it will not be noted on your diploma that you received SPS.

SPS can help you complete your studies on an equal footing with your fellow students, and an increasing number of AAU students are choosing to make use of this offer. In 2024, 1513 AAU students received SPS.
